Many communities have a long tradition of holding an evening prayer service during the season of Lent. In Opaskwayak Cree Nation, the Lent prayer service is held on Wednesdays and draws on the Gospel Based Discipleship tradition as well as BCP/BAS Evening prayer. We’ve prepared a downloadable and printable (print 2 sided, flip on short edge) booklet for Wednesday Evening prayer over Lent in 2024, as well as a one-page handout for the same prayer service without the Scriptures.
