Henry Budd College will be offering a condensed course examining some of the services of worship in our prayer books that are not Morning/Evening prayer or Holy Communion. We’ll be discussing the services of initiation – baptism and confirmation, pastoral offices such as marriage, anointing and healing and wakes and funerals, as well as a brief look at ordination.

Additionally, we’ll be learning about Gospel Based Discipleship and the various services in the Disciple’s Prayer Book. This is a vital resource from the Anglican Council of Indigenous Peoples that reminds us that worship and prayer is a shared act of the whole community.
Due to COVID restrictions, we’ll be primarily learning together on “Zoom”. You can join in two ways: by video on your device – computer, tablet or phone, or by audio on your phone – mobile or land line. If you aren’t sure if you can connect or need assistance, or have no way to join in online, please contact Kara as soon as possible.
This course is condensed, so we’ll be meeting twice a week for 6 weeks on Mondays and Thursday, from 7:00-8:30 CST. We will begin our learning journey together on May 24.
If you’re interested, please contact Kara at Henry Budd College.
