Dwelling Place of God: A Biblical Study of Heaven and Earth
Wednesdays 6:30-9:00 pm
We all assume we know what the Bible says about where God dwells – in heaven. Pearly gates, golden streets, angels singing – that’s typically where we imagine God lives. But the Bible actually tells a far greater story about God’s dwelling place. This course will explore the biblical story of God’s presence in all of creation, in Jesus, and in Christ’s followers, as well as how earth and heaven are united as the dwelling place of God.
Together we’ll rediscover what Scripture teaches about the dwelling place of God, in creation, Christ, the church, and new creation. Prepare to dive into the unified story of the Bible and challenge some of our own assumptions and beliefs about heaven and earth
