The Rev. Henry Budd, Sr. is a relatively well-known name in Canadian Anglican circles. As the first Indigenous person ordained in the Anglican Church in North America, his life and ministry is commemorated on April 2. Join us to learn more about his early work and ministry up and down the Kisiskahtchewun (Saskatchewan river) on Tuesday, March 30, 6:00-7:30 pm CST.

Dr. J. Keith Hyde will be sharing with us from Budd’s early Church Missionary Society journals and reports, using Budd’s own words to give us a picture of what life was like for this bridge-building Cree priest.
